A breast plate found by Dean Thomas at long street park near the Longstreet tower with bullets found along seminary ridge

Arrow hook US plate with two carved bullets and a pair of US cuff buttons from a tempory grave found in the wheatfield by John CULLISON

Very nice. Dean was hell on a metal detector! Had a lot of fun as a fellow guide and at his wedding, going on to found the successful Thomas Publications. Heck of a nice guy who knew his product. RIP Dean.

Yes. Mr. Cullison had a local reputation for relic hunting/collecting. I didn't know him but heard of him as Gettysburg is typical 'small town' (6500 then) where you knew just about everyone or heard of them.
