NF Gettysburg Magazine

Non-Fiction
It's my honor and privilege to announce that I have accepted an invitation to join the editorial board of Gettysburg Magazine, which I have long supported. The editor-in-chief, Prof. James Pula, extended the invitation, and I accepted it this morning. Although I have accomplished most of what I set out to do on the Battle of Gettysburg, it remains my first love, and it's my privilege to help to expand the body of knowledge by serving on the magazine's editorial board.

By the same email, Jim also advised me that my recent submission on Capt. Francis Irsch, Medal of Honor recipient from the 45th New York Infantry, will appear in the January 2019 issue of the magazine. I believe that this will be my 12th article to appear in the pages of Gettysburg Magazine over the years.

Mr. Wittenberg, my wife and I send you our Congratulations!!!!! I can't think of anyone better suited to serve in such a capacity. Mr. Pula, is indeed a smart man. Should have happened years ago.

Respectfully,
William

By the way, those interested in obtaining back issues might want to try The American History Store on the corner of Baltimore Street and Steinwehr Avenue in Gettysburg. The Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor's Center Museum Book Store has a limited supply of back issues also.

Congrats!!!

Had a chance to chat with Jim Pula in the process of publishing my first article there (out in their current issue) and it is a class organization.

Well done, sir!

Indeed. Also, on Baltimore St by the diamond, there is an antique store by the hat and the shoe store that has lots of back issues at $2-3 a pop.

That is fantastic news my friend, and also, well deserved. Congratulations!
