Gettysburg at Sunrise

I was able to make it down to Gettysburg yesterday just in time to watch the sun come up. I have a hotel reservation down there for the 7th so I can take both evening and morning shots. :) These were my first morning shots at Gettysburg, so I apologize if the locations aren't stellar.

These are excellent photos that clearly display the contrasts between sunrise and sunset. For me, the early morning fog/mist creates an impression of eeriness; the sunset induces a state of contemplativeness.
 
Gorgeous. The colors so rich & edges crisp & legible.

I don't know where the 110th PA monument is other than near the general PA. one, but gosh, would love to see it if you ran across it in your travels. 🤩
