Lincoln Gettysburg Address and Lee

With the reference to "our fathers", is it possible the President Lincoln was making a pointed remark to Genral Lee? This will be posted in the Lee thread as well.

Posted a response on the other thread. No, I think not.
I don't see Lincoln angling the somber dedication of a national cemetery in this manner.
The reference is to the founding fathers, collectively, and the remembrance of a nation "conceived in liberty".
