I uploaded my DNA to a website that analyzes it to match you with genetic matches and discovered I am related to Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant and Tom Hanks who we know is related to Lincoln. Probably tons of people are, however, I would like to discover it through ancestry ties. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Depending on how close the relationship is, you can determine it exactly but it will take some work. Once you get past 4th or 5th cousins the multiple variables that exist make it a tough challenge to find the exact link. Lincoln has no direct descendants so you will have to go to one of his parents to find the link, which means proving the lines back to the 18th century.
