Also it says James T. was disabled due to old age but he was born in 1847 so something is off with the records.
Branch, David -- Private - August 27, 1861. Wounded in left leg and knee, right arm permanently disabled, and captured at Sharpsburg, Maryland, September 17, 1862. Roll for March April 1863, shows he was "Exchanged and retaken on the road March 19, 1863." Pension records show he was at home on wounded furlough close of war. Paroled at Albany, Georgia, May 10, 1865. (Born in Georgia, November 17, 1843.)

Roll dated Petersburg, Virginia, March 1865, shows he was disabled from disease and old age. (Born in Irwin County, Georgia, in 1847.)
