Ft. Macomb (Ft. Wood/Macombe)

Depending on who you talk to the fort is spelled Macombe or Macomb....anyway that is not important. What is important is what is happening to it.
Built in 1822 the fort was used by both sides during the WBTS. Although it is owned by the state of Louisiana and is on the US Register of Historical places it sits in ruin. If

something is not done about this it will be lost forever!​
