I saw snow in the forecast for Gettysburg this weekend, so I booked a hotel room for Saturday night so I could take pictures Sunday morning. The timing worked out great, as I had a really bad day Friday and needed to unwind over the weekend. It was sketchy driving down, but I made it in one piece.

I was treated to a very nice looking sunrise over the back end of Hancock Avenue. I can't remember which farm I'm looking at here.

The George Weikert farm house was as pretty as a painting.

The Guns of Oak Hill silently guarded the snowy valley before them.

The old Cashtown Inn.

All in all, a therapeutic weekend, though I did freeze half to death due to inadequate clothing, lol!

Great Pictures, make a great screenshot on your phone just no clue how you could choose, I know I'm not a photographer. My time at Gettysburg it was August 2001 hottest place I had ever seen, maybe I ought to go in the winter😄

Super Great! Was going to say Fantastic, but everyone else beat me to it. You do great photos.

Just about froze to death today in Gettysburg. It barely got above 20 degrees, and the windchill was below zero. I'm pretty happy with my shots though. More to come, but less exciting.

Recreated a favorite photo of mine from last spring, a 12 pounder gun from Battery F/K 4th U.S. Artillery. I'll try again later when there are more dramatic skies.

My favorite of the day. A bronze Father William Corby gives Absolution to the long immortalized Irish Brigade along Hancock Avenue.
