Actually the Sunday events were cancelled due to rain and weather advisors in Illinois, Ohio and Indiana where a lot of the Union boys were heading. Plus Franklin was to get heavy rain Sunday afternoon. Saturday was perfect though.

I so envoy you folks that were able to participate. Our unit wanted to go and be there. But with the restrictions "of invite only" we were not there. It looked liked those who attended had a great time. Congratulations!

Thanks for sharing Wish I could have gone to this event. My gg grandfather and his brother fought in the battle of Franklin for the CSA.

My first Franklin was at the 125th Anniversary of Franklin back in 1989. That is when I founded The National Henry Rifle Company. the 150th Franklin was our 25th Anniversary so this event was kind of special for me. Check out my website.
