Here are some from various events. The ones in frames were created online using a tintype app that PBS was hosting while that show "Mercy Street" was airing a few years back.

Gettysburg....My wife's 6th great grandfather's nephew, Lt. Crocket East, Co. K, 19th Indiana Infantry, Iron Brigade. He was killed July 1, 1863, holding the regimental flag. This past October, my wife and I traveled to walk in Crocket's steps, that morning of July 1, 1863. With the great help of Guide Bob Gale, we were able to do that.....the march into Gettysburg, Wilhoughby Run, McPherson's Ridge.....with Bob's meticulous research, my wife was able to stand near the very spot where Crocket was killed. What a trip, lifelong memories! We have been to Gettysburg many times, but this was a special trip. Crocket's name was engraved on the 19th 's monument, my wife and Bob are checking it out....her standing near the point of Crocket's death. Very emotional.
