Fort Branch Reenactment NC 2010

Sorry If my photo albums are out of order of the years. It was the way how I donwloaded them from off of google drive etc. This is my last album hope you all enjoyed all my reenactment and living history and civil war trip event photos. I reenacted from the years of 2000 to 2018. I was a member with the 37th North Carolina Infantry (Iron Grays Mess) Company B also we did 4th Tennessee US Infantry and 156th NY Zouaves impressions in my unit.

There was no real battle for the actual Fort this was one of those battles that you just did for fun for the fort local event you could say. It was called Fort Branch named after General Branch part of Lanes brigade, after he was killed at Antietam in 1862. It's right on the new river and it's out in the middle of no where pretty much.

I knew there was no actual battle, but I figured y'all might at least use the fort!

All the pictures I've seen of it I thought there was a lot of very good preserved earthworks enabling scenarios we don't get to do elsewhere.

We just attacked the earthworks only. I think the Confederates would camp in the fort or near it. But that was it. Fun event though. They fed us pretty good.
