I was just wondering if anyone has read this book on David Campbell Kelley "Forrest's Fighting Preacher"? I would like to hear your guys opinion's on it.
It's good. The reverend is an interesting man. Dr Bradley is a solid historian although his style and emphasis is somewhat for a niche group. You should enjoy the read! Forrest's subordinates get really overshadowed by the general, as do his brothers, but he would have been in a real fix without these people. Part of his military genius was knowing who could help him the best.
