During the short time he commanded in the Army of the Ohio, Robert McCook's brigade (9th and 35th Ohio, 2nd Minnesota, 18th US) routinely messed with him as they considered him too concerned with minutiae and a bit of a martinet. At one point Sherman ordered them out on a reconnaissance and McCook said sorry, it's laundry day and my boys are already undressed, have fun though we'll be here when you get back.
Hahaha! Good one.
