Flea market find

Was at the rural flea market this morning, picked cigar box full of parts and empty shells, assembled this nice revolver, apparently all parts were in that box.

Cocking it makes the trigger pivot out from the frame.

I've seen those kinds pistols in various museums but never knew exactly how they worked. It must be pretty small being .22 cal.

The folding trigger leftover from the original Colt Patterson revolver (that preceded the Walker Dragoon). Walker spoke with Colt and got the exposed trigger with trigger guard. David Sullivan's book on Sam Walker is a good read. Check it out (from the library).
