Believe this photo was taken at Westover Landing, VA, in Aug. '62, showing a group of officers of the 3rd and 4th PA Cavalry partaking in a drink together (except perhaps for the seated officer on the left who may have been a teetotaler). That's Col. James Harvey Childs of the 4th PA Cavalry who is seated pouring himself a drink from his flask. (Col. Childs was killed in action in the following month after being struck by a cannonball at Antietam on Sep. 17, '62).
