Well, I've finally got the topic chosen for my third English 117 essay - "How are American Civil War movies constructed?" and I will be looking at plot, setting, characters, theme and historical context.

Sounds like you might be taking film classes? That topic would be very interesting, and a neat idea for an essay.

No I'm not Henry - it's just that we got told our third essay for English could be on whatever we wanted it to
