Emma Green

Reverend Ron what is the street address? I would love to drop by sometime.
Dave,
Here's the address. Make sure to spray your pants, socks and legs with Backwoods Off or Deet. I picked up a couple of ticks and chiggers last weekend. The grass will be cut this week and that should help out with the bugs in the yard.

24494 Algonquin Trail, Raccoon Ford, VA 22701

There is a "Stringfellow" Road out in and around the Route 28 corridor by Dulles airport, before the Frying Pan area. I wonder if this road was attributed to him.

I live a mile away from the spot on Route 28 you mention and could never figure that out. Embarrassingly, a side road adjacent to Raccoon Ford near the Stringfellow Retreat Plantation is misspelled as "Springfellow". I don't know how the state DOT screwed that one up.

Frank Stringfellow was a parishioner at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Raccoon Ford, VA. He was raised at "The Retreat" plantation close by. In fact the land for the church was donated by his father Robert Stringfellow in 1850. After the war he and Emma returned to Raccoon Ford where Frank ministered for a period of time. You folks should stop on by the church sometime, I'm in the process of restoring it and turning into a Civil War themed wedding venue and museum.
Are you really a reverend?

Are you really a reverend?

Karen I am not an ordained man of the cloth. That's a fun nickname that some friends and locals have dubbed me with. But it is my hope to attract a Christian ministry to the church, do some charitable work in the local community, become licensed to perform weddings and counsel young people who are in trouble.
