Edwin Vose Sumner in the field (Work in progress)

It's a fact the two were never seen together. Hmmmm. . . .

Good start, Zuzah. Keep it up.
Maybe they were never seen together because they were long-lost brothers who each fought for one side, and they both hated eachothers choice. Sumner wanted his baby-brother to stay with the Union, but his Lee wanted to rebel against his older brother, he had followed his rules all his life... time to stand on his own feet for once, WITHOUT HIS BROTHER.

I'm gonna go write a book, be right back.

Update: Finished the flag, added some brown to spots that looked like it, finished the sky, tree-leaves and tree itself, gonna work on his uniform and colors now. I love how that flag looks, just oh my god.

Also thank you very much for telling me what to do with the grass wilbur, I had never considered breaking it down in parts and adding the different colors like I did in this one, I think it turned out quite alright.

Make a seperate photoshop image of whatever copyright that you want, and save it to your comp as a psd file, then just open and drag it into any image that you are working on
That makes so much sense I can't believe I hadn't thought of that before.

You rarely seem to see a background so out of focus in these glass plate shots. This one almost looks like a painted backdrop ... but then it surely should be in focus.

Good job.
