Made a work related visit to an elderly lady who it turns out is a direct descendant of Duncan Kenner,chief diplomat to the Confederate States.
Wonder what the odds are of that happening in rural Scotland?

Kenner had one daughter who married a Brent and they all seemed to live in the USA. How indeed did a "direct descendant" end up in Scotland?

So, are we thinking that Mr. Kenner was a naughty, naughty man when he visited England (and France) in 1864?
