Somewhere on Henry Hudson's river.
Just a fun fact. In the 1820s drummers would have been issued two strips of gray or white sheepskin. Gray corresponding with their winter pantaloons, and white for summer. These were buckled around the waist and above the left knee. This however, was dropped in the 1830's.
