I don't know why they used a photo of Lincoln.

An oval albumen portrait of Lincoln set into an embossed frame graces the center of this colorful carte surrounded by advertising for Dr. Bicknels' syrup. "Is really a genuine article. All physicians, druggists and others who taste it, pronounce it such" is the claim. "Warrantied to cure cholera".
