I have a guy willing to sell me 3 Don Troiani prints. They are signed and have a certificate of authenticity. They are "Diehards", "1st Regiment South Carolina Rifles", and "Men of Arkansas". He is wanting to price them at $545 and that includes shipping. Thoughts?

3 just went at auction for $350 to include "Fight for the Colors". Guy beat me by $25. I'm a low bidder and been lucky many times bidding low! Just not this time:bye:

I have many CW prints, bought over the last 3 decades. Not one was bought as an investment, but rather because either I liked the print or the subject. Most are worth less than the purchase price.

If framed professionally, that is a major plus. If not framed, well, the true price comes down to what the value is to you. Auctions are an excellent indication of worth, particularly the auction site beginning with E and ending with Y.
