This is one I found on Ebay and bought for nothing and had photographed and sent to his assistant which she was highly grateful but it still didn't meet quality standards to sell she said. I would have had to take it out of the frame to do it and really didn't want to

So just what is that supposed to represent specifically? He's obviously a Confederate ( Texas or Mississippi from the star ) with a M. '41 Mississippi rifle and "western" saddle, but theoretically could be almost anything - no doubt why you didn't have any bidding competition for it!

I think you are right about nobody bidding on it lol, there was an old paper on the back that described it as "Confederate Cavalryman 1861, Southwest signed by him on the sheet as well. The picture really doesn't do it justice it is a really nice piece

I've enjoyed Troiani's standard bearer prints.

Before Troiani began publishing his work with Historical Art Prints some of his ealier stuff was labeled as "SAHA." What does that acronym stand for? The 1983 Union Standard Bearer print is labeled "Don Troiani SAHA" while the year earlier 1982 Confederate Standard Bearer is just labed with Don's name. Both of these prints i've been informed are from before he started issuing Certificate of Authenticities.

Just picked up the accompanying print from the framers; it didn't look right having the one Standard Bearer hanging on wall without the other one.
