Post war French made cavalry officer sword. Please provide source of the pictures for confirmation with close ups of both sides of the blade ricasso. The grip is horn.

Thanks for posting. Its very hard to make any determinations with just a few photos but I'm leaning with @Glen_C . Just because a sword has an unstopped fuller does not automatically make it Confederate. Below is an example of the same sword from the Napoleonic sword book.
