I have a question I hope you all can help me with. I was going through some of my fathers old papers and I came across a old 1970's copy of my GGGrandfathers discharge papers. I know the original is some where with another relative and will be unable to get to it. Here is my question what size paper would the document be on, What is the ink color ( I am guessing black) is the writing and What is the period type paper that it was printed on. I am going to try to restore it. Thank for your help.
