Yes, at Camp Asylum! My great-great grandfather, Adj. William B. Phillips of the Second Pennsylvania Provisional Heavy Artillery was captured at the Battle of the Crater and sent first to Richland Jail in Columbia and then Camp Asylum. As Sherman's army approached Columbia the prisoners were moved north and a short time later they were paroled. Here is a record from his pension file confirming his imprisonment:
