Wow. A couple of them look really young. And they appear surprisingly fit for what they'd been through. Bunch of real scrappers. Look like they're still ready to march.

Yeah, I think its interesting to see soldiers from the AoT, with their uniforms and in the middle of the war. Any photographs of Confederate POWs are quite rare, I think this and one other may be the only photos taken of AoT POWs. This is the only other I know of, taken at Camp Douglas in Chicago.
