Number 8 reminds us me of my history. My gg grandfather Martin Clark fought for a wealthy kid from Harrisburg PA.
He made it through and was buried in Lowell MA and then in the 1930s(?)the family sold the plot and someone was buried on top and the GAR stone was pushed over, weeds and grass grew over it.
Then, huzzah, one day the stone was found and pit back up.
Its gray and weathered, tired and worn but now its up.
I am buying whiskey at the Worthen (sp) pub in Lowell if I find the person that found the stone
