I even had three favorites, but then one of them stood out for me.
I loved that the December PotM voting was themed to cemeteries. Makes the photos a tiny bit more comparable ...
Great photos, all, we have some true photographic artists among us!

Still mulling my choice, but leaning to Choice 4....
Choice 1 appears to be copied from Bertel Thorvaldsen's famous rock relief Lion of Lucerne in Lucerne, Switzerland. It was hewn in 1820 to commemorate the Swiss Guards massacred while defending the Tuileries Palace in Paris in 1792.
