Just got this AVC button from what I gather this farm is few hundred yards east of big and little round top

The map seen in the below link may show the exact location of the Dayhoff Farm on the Solomon Road, about 1.5 to 2 miles SE of the Round Tops.

The Union Fifth Corps Field Hospital was located on the Goulden Road, about 1/2 mile north of the Dayhoff Farm - See map shown in link in previous post.

(Believe many of the Alabamians left wounded on the field in the assaults on LRT were moved to this field hospital).

So this button could be what was left in the grave of an Alabamian who was taken to that hospital?
