I found Daniel F Bozeman listed among the soldiers who died at Cassville. One of the problems I have is Fold3 does not confirm he died at Cassville but suggests he deserted. Am I reading this correctly?

I would say that "D. Bozeman" listed on the roster as died at Cassville Feb 23, 1864 could very well be Daniel F Bozeman of the 1st AL Conscripts.

I checked every other Bozeman, Bosman, Boseman and Bozman with first name beginning with D and could find no one else who was unaccounted for on/after that date.

If that's him, he enlisted in Conecuh County. I think this is him in the 1850 US Census in Covington County which is right next to Conecuh
