Is there a photo of Blockade Runner Ivanhoe? My son while visiting Ft. Morgan in Mobile Bay was given directions to site of Ivanhoe. He followed the instructions and came upon a man surf fishing at the site. He told him that at low tide the part of the stacks were visible. About 40 to 50 feet from shore His favorite fishing spot. Had caught a 38 lb drum today. Told him that he had waded out to stacks several times in the past to untangle his line. Said that at low tide he figured depth was 6 - 8 feet.

The Ivanhoe was an iron-hulled paddlewheel steam ship designed to evade the blockading Union fleet. The archeology department from Florida State University has located the Ivanhoe in an area where it would be extremely easy to recover artifacts.

I know the wreckage of the Ivanhoe is well documented, but I'm unaware of any images or illustrations.

Ivanhoe was built on the Clyde in 1864, and wrecked on her first attempt to run into the Confederacy, a distance east of Fort Morgan in June of that year. She was 201 feet long and 20.1 feet in beam, 10-to-1, which is an extreme design. She was one of five identical runners, all built to the same design. I don't have any images of her handy, although her life was so short that there may not even be any extant. My guess is that she would be similar to the somewhat-standardized configuration that developed by the latter part of the war, as shown by another Clyde steamer of similar size, Fergus:

Two more quick points -- blockade runners were not commissioned warships, so should never be designated as "C.S.S.," even if, as in a few cases, they were owned and operated by the Confederate government. (Ivanhoe was not.) Finally, even though it's tempting, please don't go poking around the wreck. It's a protected archaeological site, and besides which, it's a great way to get gouged on a rusty bolt or plate, or an angler's lost fishhook.
