The well known picture of three CSA POWS photograhed by Brady 2 weeks after the battle of Gettysburg...has their been any attemps to identify the men in the picture since 1863?

The well known picture of three CSA POWS photograhed by Brady 2 weeks after the battle of Gettysburg...has their been any attemps to identify the men in the picture since 1863?

There have been attempts, but they have been spurious. The photographer did not record the names of the men in the photograph.

Some years ago a gent claimed to know the identities, viz. that one of them was his grandpa Blevins of the 30th North Carolina Regiment...
