I just saw question on Cracker Soup. This was a soup my Grandma would make. It was a soup to calm one's upset stomach. The soda in the crackers neutralized the acid.

My Grandma would prepare this soup for her children when they were sick to their stomach. She made it for me several times when I was a child and lived with her. It would satisfy your hunger but be easy on the stomach.

Recipe Cracker Soup

Saltine Crackers
Water

Place saltines in bowl, cover with enough water to moisten crackers. Immediately cover and let steep a few minutes and then serve.

Don't knock it as it really works.

Grandmas always know the thing to do when you are sick. My Grandma was a nurse and frequently prepared food for her patients. She had a nursing home and prepared all the food besides running the home. Later she had several nursing homes. She was a brave and strong and caring lady. She was one of the woman I have admired most in my life.
