Heading out monday for about a week. St. Louis, Shiloh, and a Corinth B&B named General's Headquarters for 2 nights. Anyone ever been there? Nice? Not nice? Have until tomorrow night to cancel if it's not. After that, it's over to Mena Arkansas to visit friends, then back north. Weather has now gotten nice down there so we're off!

Mena will be nice this time of year, enjoy Arkansas and the mountains! And the weather is wonderful here in Alabama, should be the same farther west.

By the way, if you have time visit C&D Jarnigan in Corinth.

And if you have time Brices Crossroads is a few miles south of Corinth, north of Tupelo.

Thanks for the note on C&D. Expect to be in Corinth in June so will try to check them out. I'm also planning on
checkingt out Brices Crossroads, after the regular muster. Just drug out Bearss's book on Brices to read after
finishing Cunningham's book on Shiloh.

This is how much of a "newbie" I am. Was thinking "sutler" was a relic store so don't feel bad about being "that guy". After I googled them wasn't going there anyway. Waiting out freezing rain in Festus Mo but about ready to hit the road again. Corinth tonight! Yeah! Have an extra day to do Shiloh, Corinth, Brices, antique places. This is fun!
