I just re-watched it this week and forgot how many gaffes there are in it. The worst is how badly they treated Robert Cobb Kennedy. Yes, he was one of the Confederates who set fire to parts of New York City in 1864, and yes, he was hanged for his trouble. He was in fact the last Confederate officer to be hanged in the war. He'd made his escape to Canada, then for some reason decided to re-enter the USA at Detroit. Someone ratted him out and he was arrested and sent back to New York for trial. I've read what transcripts there are of the trial and he seems pretty apologetic, saying it was never their intention to cause any loss of life. "Copper" makes him out to be a raving lunatic of a terrorist. I won't detail any more of the gaffes, they being too numerous, but welcome any comments on the series, whether good, bad or ugly.

¨Ever since aa copper offered me an egg, I have learned to have good days.¨ One of the most beautiful lines I have ever heard delivered in a TV series. It came at a time when I needed to learn what good days looked like too.
