"Cooking USA" is by Georgia Orcutt and John Margolies. It includes 50 favorite recipes from the fifty states. Each recipe is a signature recipe from the particular state, including Banana Pudding from Alabama, Chicago Pizza from illinois, Santa Fe Chicken from New Mexico, Pulled Pork from South Carolina and Buffalo Stew from Wyoming, to name a few.

It is beautifully illustrated and has some facts or history on each recipe. It is a wonderful way to sample a signature meal from all fifty states without ever leaving your kitchen.

I checked the book to see if they had a different Ohio signature dish than the one I listed. Same one. Buckeyes. Nice book.

I love the illustrations for each state and telling what each state is, like Kentucky is "The BlueGrass State" and for you. Littlestown, Ohio is "The Buckeye State".
