Hi,

I would like to read Congressional debates online and was looking for where/how to do so? I am well aware of the function of the Congressional Globe at the time, but cannot find the text anywhere online. I am talking from the 1840's through the end of the 1860's. If anyone could help me that way, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Nathan Towne

You can find many issues of the Congressional Globe here. They're not listed in chronological order, however.

Many issues are also available on the Internet Archive. There are many different formats for downloading.

The Web Archive of the Library of Congress appears to have all of them, but the interface seems very slow.
