Confederate whitworth bullet

I've been searching 20+ years for this bullet. Finally dug it today here in Nashville.
Some Confederate sharpshooter up on the Shy's hill aiming at a federal trooper giving my location.
Range of these rifle where 1000+ yards.

From what I have read, the hexagonical shaped bullets were imported from England; while the bullet mold that was issued with the rifles cast round bullets; however they were both the same length. By the way, congratulations on a excellent find.
