Not sure how many have heard of Laura Ratcliffe. She was a nurse at the start of the war, and she met J.E.B. Stuart as a result. She subsequently agreed to pass Stuart information on Union troop movements in northern Virginia. She continued it with John Moseby. Attached are a few photos, one of her grave, which is hidden away in a parking lot of a Herndon hotel. The rock is the location of her meetings with Moseby.

Mosby was actually captured during the Peninsular Campaign and paroled in the first prisoner exchange. Just thought I'd throw that in.
