Good article. Malibone might very well have been right about Varina Davis. The only way to prove it is to find a living descendant of her. I don't know if there is one. Varina had 4 or 5 children but has I recall only one had children. Now a days DNA is so accurate that it was determined that our presidents mother had DNA from John Punch one of the first slaves brought to North America.
