Confederate Commander Confusion

Sanders, Moore, Henry and Dickens. Yeesh! Multiplied like rabbits! Thank God for the Powers, Kizer, and Horton folks. :) At least the Sanders gave weird first names to their kids. Not so with the Dickens family. James Charles.....really??????

Yes, but boy, don't get too close to the whole genealogical world of snittery, snobbery and snootery, not worth it! I know someone who is not too far off the Grant tree, wrote for some help clarifying just for fun, not necessarily for kudos. It transpires NO ONE was ever related to him ever, ever on the planet, please go away before someone calls the genealogy police you dreadful little peasant you. They'd known this through the generations, too, a 'real thing'- finally gave up swearing to never bring the subject up again. She's now in the hills with the Survivalists, eating roots and laying in ammunition. We send her wool socks and ponchos every Christmas.

These are the kinds of short bios one can spend way too much time over, thank you! I made myself read those darn Lee's yet again slowlyyy, because no matter how many times I go over them, I still get confused when I come across the Fitzhugh who was not related, have to back-check who/what/when/where/how. I'm also still listening to 'Heart's of Fire', where a ton of these names have come up so far, which means someone like me has been confused a ton of times. Believe it or not, we amatuers dislike walking around talking nonsense ( at least this one does ), sometimes feel like a big straw looking for the informational milkshake only there's a darn pea stuck in the thing and my face is turning blue.

I'm not conversant with forums, online communication, etc. but this is hysterical and I promise relevant. I'd like to have a 'place' to stick this kind of thing, like when one tears a good article out of a magazine ( which may or may not have happened at the dentitst office ) . The hysterical part- I did see this once on a forum- I HAD to 'join' one. My son's massive goldfish ( it's a CARP now, do not care what anyone says ) had some wierd ick forming- could not get info, found, not lying- a goldfish forum dedicated to all things Goldfish, and their owners. Little scary. Point being- it looked like this forum, but had a feature where one could save posts other people had ut up. In the event this has one already and I'm an Idjit again, could someone please tell me? If not, just an idea.

Carp fine, thank you. Moral there is do not allow one's child to play that stupid game at carvival. Now, if they'd let us shoot the d**n things... . It's no crueler than eating them, more fun and besides I'm kidding.
