Confederate Bond Note Question

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know anything about the Gettysburg Museum of History? Their web site shows an "original" 1864 Confederate Bond Coupon Note. My only concern is that for the price ($17) it looks too good, almost like fresh off the press. They include their own COA, but for me if it's not a third-party COA, well who knows. I realize this is small potatoes but I just thought I would ask. Has anyone had any dealings with them? Thanx for any help.

You can often find these bond coupons in almost uncirculated condition, and they often sell on Ebay for less than $10 apiece. So it could very well be genuine. A lot of people buy the bonds and cut off the coupons to sell individually to make a profit.

I'm curious as to just what is being called a note. The bond with coupons attached or just the individual coupon itself maybe? A bond is a bond and a coupon is a coupon. Where does the word "note" come in? Notes are Confederate money as in bills or currency. Just what bits of old paper are they selling?

I have a few duplicates of these bonds. They're not worth that much being cut off the sheet, but that one does look genuine.
