Confederate Battle Flag Guidons?

I am curious as to whether or not there were Confederate Battle Flag guidons, using the "Swallowtail" design, in which the fly's triangular portion was cut out, much like the one in this Cavalry Key chain.

I am curious if such a flag ever existed. (I haven't seen one) I have seen historical 1st and 2nd National Flag guidons, but never this particular design.

Was it common for, say, the cavalry to carry a guidon, or would they most often carry a regular standard Battle Flag?

Thanks.

I have no idea and I'm certainly willing to accept the opinion of any of the experts here. I've never seen an historic one, either. However, after seeing the concept, it sorta makes me wonder why no one ever thought of it!

Agreed. I mean I've seen several 1st National Guidons, I figure it's only reasonable to assume that someone would have thought of battle flag Guidons as well.
