Today's hero is George Pickett, a former U.S. Army captain who had served in the Pig War in 1859. Pickett would lead a charge to the Union's center, believing it to be weak, however he was wrong and his charge would be devastated, ultimately leading to the confederate defeat. Yesterday I couldn't get this drawing done so today ya'll will get 2 drawings.

Great work! I have been to Pickett's house out west in Bellingham, also the Island spot where the pig war took place; good that we fund such places for preserving history.

Curious about that flag behind him, the Stainless banner. Were such flags readily available at Gettysburg in that short a time? After all it was just a few months this since the flag was chosen to replace the 1st National flag.
