Today's hero is Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. The brilliant Confederate general who led the confederate army to many great victories. While he is mainly perceived as a heroic, bold, and mighty man, he was actually much the opposite. Jackson was very self conscious and wouldn't let his back touch his chair, nor would he cross his legs to seem more as a gentleman. That sentence just before the last paragraph has me scratching my head. "..capture Harper's Ferry and then marched his spent men to save Lee's battered army at Antietam". Wasn't that A.P. Hill?
