Earl Scruggs of Flatt and Scruggs played that tune as an instrument 55 years ago.

Definitely a song of the Appalachians. Love it. Thanks for posting.

The 2nd SC String Band are amazing at what they do. Their live CD "Lightning in a Jar" can make you feel like you are in the 1850s.
