Just finished reading "Class of 1846." by John Waugh. It is an excellent read.

Jackson, McClellan, AP Hill, Gibbon, Maury, Pickett, Maxey, Wilcox
Interesting, number one in the Class was not McClellan (#2) but Charles Stewart, who became a Colonel for the Union.

Was A.P. Hill in that class? For some reason I thought he was in the next graduating class (1847)

He started with that class, but actually graduated in 1847 due to illness.
