A splendid CDV by Todd Hein, a pair of ladies in a candid moment. The young lady on the left is a College Student who is also a avid photogropher. The young lady on the right is a HS Senior now, a farm girl with a love for history. They are standing in front of a period building. Their clothing is largely machine sewn but on a period pattern.

Excellent picture. Honestly, the first thing it reminded me of when I saw it was the later Little House books in which Laura Ingalls Wilder would describe Mary's life after she was struck blind. I mean that as a compliment- it's a good photo that can give someone a sudden flash of recognition like that. Maybe I made the connection because of the coloring on that girl on the right and the way her hand is grasping at the door.

Take a look at the attached link to another pic... particularly significant in reference to your words.

That's very cool. How do they do the ghosting, a double exposure?
That's one of those photogropher wizardry things. I think it was just a simple double exposure. Take a picture w/ just the ghosted woman present then have everyone eles come and sit down as she leaves and open the shutter again... but that is only a guess.

That was what I figured- although it might be easier to do it in the reverse. Have the three who will be fully developed, as it were, stand and be photographed. Put the cover on the lens, have the girl come and sit down, remove the cover and take another, shorter exposure. That requires the first folks to be still for a while, though.
