Hi, I am new here and located in New Zealand. I inherited many years ago this badge from my uncle who was a WW2 veteran and served in Europe. I believe he probably exchanged this with a US soldier for German memorabilia during the war as he was quite a collector of German artifacts.
Firstly is it Civil War, original or copy and if either any info you may give. I wasn't sure if it was something to trash or retain.
